Life of a lupus patient..
Yesterday I started my first round of cytoxan (chemotherapy) which lasted about 20 minutes then had to be infused with solu medrol (IV steroids) for an hour. I was sooo nervous…not exactly about the treatment but what may happen afterwards. Thankfully I have people in my life that are there for me when I just need comfort and will stay with me to make sure I am ok! Well I made it through the night with no nausea and for the most part I feel well!
This is only the first of 6 infusions I have to go through so I know I what side effects can occur later on but for now I will keep my hopes up.
